Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking a Technical Enablement Manager.
Eaton’s Digital Service Operations team is currently seeking a Technical Enablement Manager to support and expand our Brightlayer R&D Infrastructure. This position can be located remotely within the United States. Preference will be given to those who reside in Cleveland, Ohio.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $91,500 - $134,200 a year.

What You’ll DoAs a Technical Enablement Manager, you will initiate and lead innovation projects, develop business cases, lead internal and external relationships, and present ideas to Eaton business leaders and customers around the Brightlayer platforms. A unique blend of strong technical knowledge and business acumen is required to be successful in this position.
In This Role You Will
  • Manage and scale the current day-to-day internal lab infrastructure, lab architecture, and maintenance of the Brightlayer demonstration, training, and R&D labs.
  • Implement a digital solutions infrastructure for software product demonstrations and training enablement with cross functional alignment with Eaton IT, sales, services, offer management and engineering teams.
  • Assist in the oversight and governance of internal Brightlayer digital solutions to provide alignment and alliance across multiple digital businesses and/or stakeholders
  • Establish objectives and direct processes in the areas of IT project execution, customer concerns, scope, and risk assessment around internal Eaton Brightlayer lab or R&D efforts
  • Operationalize and scale Brightlayer software training and demonstrations within Eaton facilities that require long-term view, consideration of multiple perspectives, and understanding of future impact in the digital space
  • Responsible for the successful execution, ownership and expansion of the Eaton employee Intelligent Power Pilot program lab including scope, schedule, planning, cost and quality commitments.
  • Oversee the end-to-end administration and coordination of the Intelligent Power Pilot program including daily support and maintenance of product installations with customers and vendors. This also includes working with Offer Managers to build and optimize participation rates and identify other potential customers with the stakeholders for the Intelligent Power Pilot
  • Coordinate with engineering R&D teams, production, and data scientists to optimize results of pilots and labs and drive continuous improvement activities around Brightlayer software
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders daily, including but not limited to Eaton IT, offer management, and globally distributed software and product development teams to see various Brightlayer Service Operations needs to completion
QualificationsRequired (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the software industry, technical support, or IT field supporting scalable projects and/or distributed systems
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited institution
SkillsPosition Criteria:
  • Hands on experience deploying, configuring, and/or scaling software demonstrations and training infrastructure, applications, and/or IT projects in a virtualized on-prem environment and/or cloud environment
  • Experience managing technical projects or deployments with internal and/or external customers or business partners
  • Vendor management experience
  • Knowledge of infrastructure virtualization, operating systems, networking, databases and computer systems architecture a plus
  • Teamwork, communication, strong interpersonal skills across cultural and organizational boundaries
  • Practical knowledge of agile methodologies, product development, information architecture, usability testing, and UX/UI
  • Ability to present technical concepts in a simple and intuitive way to leadership
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills including the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
