American Healthcare Institute is Hiring a Vice President of Business Development Near Beach, FL

Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Job Overview: The Vice President of Business Development (VP of BD) is a senior executive responsible for leading the company's growth strategy by identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key partners and clients, and driving the overall business development process. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, a deep understanding of market trends, and the ability to foster a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
  • Develop and implement the business development strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Identify and assess new business opportunities, including markets, partnerships, products, and services.
  • Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities.
  • Partnership and Relationship Management:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, investors, and industry leaders.
  • Negotiate and close high-value deals and partnerships to drive business growth.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance the company's visibility and reputation.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing business development team.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the team.
  • Set performance targets and ensure the team meets or exceeds these targets.
  • Revenue Growth and Profitability:
  • Drive revenue growth through new business acquisition and expansion of existing accounts.
  • Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product development teams to ensure alignment and maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on business development performance, providing insights and recommendations to the executive team.
  • Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage the business development budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
  • Prepare regular reports and forecasts on business development activities, revenue, and profitability.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Skills:
  • Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and achieving revenue targets.
  • Strong strategic planning and analytical skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Leadership skills with a focus on team development and performance management.
  • Financial acumen and experience with budget management.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and competitive landscape.

Work Environment: This role is based in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The VP of BD may be required to travel frequently to meet with clients, partners, and attend industry events.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,989.25 - $109,578.45 per year
