At Baton Rouge Christian Academy our goal is to strive to develop loving, caring, and meaningful relationships with all children and families. We are a facility that supports all children ages 6 weeks-12 years of age physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development to help them prepare for lifelong participation in society.

**Overview:**

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education and a strong commitment to nurturing young minds.

**Duties:**

- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth

- Create a safe and supportive learning environment for all children

- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns

- Provide individualized attention to each child to support their learning needs

- Conduct tutoring sessions as needed to help children grasp key concepts

- Engage children in educational activities that promote creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

**Experience:**

- Previous experience working with toddler-aged children is a plus

- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices

- Familiarity with curriculum development and implementation

- Experience in toddler care and special education is a plus

- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues

- Background in math or related subjects beneficial

- Previous experience in daycare or preschool settings preferred

Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
