Batesville Community School Corporation is Hiring a Head Cheerleading Coach Near Batesville, IN
Primary Functions: Coach and oversee all aspects of the cheer program grades 9-12
Qualifications:
- High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree in education-related field preferred
- Previous head coaching experience preferred, but not required
- Excellent communication and organization skills; ability to motivate and teach
- Knowledge of cheerleading fundamentals, routines and strength training
- Possess or obtain all IHSAA required certifications
Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Instructing student-athletes on techniques, teamwork, discipline and work ethic
- Creating an environment that is positive and safe for the student-athletes
- Develop daily practice plans, including appropriate skill progression
- Set and maintain high standards for behavior and academic excellence
