Job Summary:

This individual will be working in conjunction with the current media specialist at BPS. Some of the primary job responsibilities will be:

• Work in the Batesville Primary School library and assist with organizing and managing all library media center functions and operations
• Oversee the BPS Reading Challenge with the Media Specialist
• Assist with BPS communications, social media updates, and BPS website updates
• Oversee BPS electronic calendars and the programming of exterior doors for all events
• Assist the media specialist with technology-related resources and platforms
• At times, will assist the media specialist with library and Project Lead the Way (PLTW) lesson planning and instruction
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma is required
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Experience working with elementary students required
• General working knowledge of technology platforms (Google, Microsoft, etc.) required
