Position: Assistant Controller

Location: Bartlett, Illinois

Responsibilities:

• Lead month, quarter, annual close processes

• Prepare company finanical statements - balance sheet, income statement, cash flows, etc.

• Lead a small team with total general ledger oversight

• Maintain standard cost accounting policies and procedures

• Lead all cost accounting efforts

• Perform monthly financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, etc.

• Manage accounts payables, accounts receivables, as well as payroll

• Lead the annual external audit

• Research accounting topics for compliance with GAAP

• Other ad hoc projects / assignments as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance

• 7 years accounting with experience leading close processes

• Manufacturing industry preferred with cost accounting experience

• Public accounting foundation from a big 4 / mid-tier firm

• CPA
