Now hiring Lab Accessioners for a large diagnostics clinic in Barlesville, OK!
Responsibilities:
- Receiving and unpacking samples
- Physically delivering orders and samples throughout different areas/floors of the hospital and/or clinic
- Identifying the test the sample is for
- Checking for contamination
- Preserving the sample properly
- Sorting and cataloging each item accurately
- Unpacking and routing specimens to their respective staging areas
- Accurately identifying and labeling specimens
- Packing and shipping specimens to proper testing facilities
- Properly preparing and storing excess specimen samples
- Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
- Resolving and documenting any problem specimens
- Making sample follow up phone-calls
- Introducing and preparing biological specimens to the laboratory to ensure accurate processing
Shift:
6pm - 6:30am
