Friends of Acadia seeks an experienced, organized, and creative development professional to manage the annual fundraising programs, including membership, annual fund, and business support campaigns. This position develops and manages a matrix of solicitation and communication strategies focused on building a sustainable tradition of annual support. The Development Manager identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards relationships with individuals and businesses, securing gifts for annual support, as well as identifies opportunities for future campaigns and planned giving. The successful candidate will have skills in project management and collaboration, data management and analysis, volunteer supervision, research, and the ability to craft compelling and inspiring messages. A love of Acadia and an understanding of conservation makes candidates for this position most competitive.
