Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Bakery Assistant to join our team. The Bakery Assistant will support the baking team in preparing, producing, and selling high-quality baked goods. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding bakery environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and production of various baked goods such as bread, pastries, and desserts
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- Operate baking equipment including ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters
- Monitor baking process to ensure quality and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with inquiries and orders
Skills:
- Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is preferred, but not required
- Knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to follow recipes accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication skills and a team player mentality
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior bakery staff
