Summit Business Technologies is Hiring an IT Support Engineer Near Baltimore, MD
A successful candidate will resolve computer-related issues for students and teachers in an Baltimore City school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair and maintain student and teacher devices and other technology equipment including networked and stand-alone computer systems
- Software and hardware setup, installation, maintenance, diagnostics, replacement and upgrades
- Resolve issues for students and staff in person, or electronically
- Track issues and resolution
- Assist with maintaining and troubleshooting Local Area and Wide Area Network
- Establish and maintain user accounts on end user machines/devices
- Personal computer and keyboarding skills; Advanced computer hardware and software skills; Operating knowledge of and experience with Google GSuite, Apple iPad
- Previous experience in IT support
- Ability to build rapport with computer users
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Ability to organize and manage hardware parts/components of various sizes
- Physical ability to set up and take down equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair technology hardware and software issues
- Ability to lift at significant weight - minimum of 1 pound up to 100 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders to run cabling as needed
- Positive and professional demeanor
