We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Supervisor to held lead the day to day workflow for the department and support the manager by creating efficiencies. This individual should have a strong background in A/R, especially with managing retail big box chains. This position preferably should be based out of our Brooklyn, NY facility, however, consideration can be made for the Monroe, NJ location with expected travel to Brooklyn. Salary is commensurate with experience but starting at 75k. Please include your salary requirements with your resume.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Very detail oriented and hands on.
- Review Bank statements and reconcile with customer payments remittance to process payment applications in the system.
- Identify skip invoices and communicate to the customer in a timely fashion for payment.
- Identify short payments and escalate to different departments for assistance to document and present claims in customers portal.
- Monitor customer aging.
- Communicate with customers (supermarkets chains and independents).
- Interact with different departments in the organization as accounting, warehouse, sales, pricing among others.
- Ability to work in high volume experience our business is mostly DSD.
- Supervise a team of 4 people.
