OneLegacy Brand is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist Near Azusa, CA

Position Summary
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be responsible for all billing and collecting of accounts receivable. Other duties include assisting Staff Accountants when needed. May also assume other administrative responsibilities in the Finance Department as needed.
A condition of employment requires that the incumbent learn and abide by the core values of OneLegacy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Prepare invoices for all organ and tissue recoveries as well as other miscellaneous invoices.
2.Enforce credit policy.
3.Review Accounts Receivable data input.
4.Handle customer calls.
5.Maintain customer files.
6.Attend scheduled meetings.
7.Assist Accounting Manager in preparation of monthly financial statements.
8.Enter payments to customer accounts.
9.Run Aging Reports and follow-up with vendors.
10.Assist in year-end independent audit as needed.
11.Coordinate with Donor Information to facilitate timely release of records.
12.Review contracts to ensure compliance with all terms.
13.Follow-up with external and internal customers regarding overdue balances.
14.Perform various reconciliations as it relates to the Account Receivable subledger.
15.Interact with internal and external customers to resolve Account Receivable issues.
16.Conduct account research and perform Account Receivable related analyses as needed.

Secondary Job Functions:
(Although the following job functions have been identified as “secondary”, any employee capable of performing the “secondary” job functions is expected to do so.)
1.Serve on various OneLegacy committees as needed.
2.Perform administrative duties as needed in Finance & Accounting Department
3.Supports the organization’s Standards of Professional Conduct as outlined in the OneLegacy Employee Handbook, and the mission, vision and values.
4.Performs other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager.

Skills and Abilities:
1.Interpersonal skills.

3.Communication skills, written and oral.
4.Knowledge of Microsoft Suite applications, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel is essential.

Physical Environment/Working Conditions:
Location: Corporate office in Azusa. The office is a non-smoking facility.
Travel: Occasionally required to travel by personal auto or air to meeting sites and other locations.
Work Hours: Forty-hour workweek as determined by assigned shift. Assigned days or shift can be changed at any time.
Job Qualifications:
Education:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university preferred. A Bachelor’s degree may substitute for 4 years of work experience.
Experience:A minimum of two years in Accounts Receivable (A/R).
Certification/License:OneLegacy requires employees to maintain a current California driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
Equipment:Working knowledge of personal computer, fax machines, telephone systems, photocopier, postage machine and 10-key adding machine. Reliable automotive transportation required.

Pay Range:

$22.44- $32.54
