- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must possess a valid Arizona driver’s license.
- Must possess a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance card
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of landscape gardening tools and equipment.
- Must possess knowledge of gardening chemicals.
- Must possess at least one year of landscaping or yard work type experience.
- Must possess ability to maintain neatness of person and display an attitude of friendliness, courtesy, respect, and cooperation toward others.
- Must possess ability to operate heavy equipment associated with grounds work.
- Must possess an ability to climb ladders and work in tight spaces, i.e., trenches, etc.
- Must possess an ability to push, pull, and lift weights in excess of 50 pounds.
