Position Summary:

As an IT Support Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting all technology hardware and software systems within our enterprise environment. Your responsibilities will include providing in-person and remote technical support to our customers, installing and configuring various IT resources, and ensuring top-tier service delivery through clear communication and follow-through. You'll also assist in coordinating audiovisual setups and video conferencing support, making sure our technology facilitates seamless communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems, mobile devices, printers, and scanners.
• Coordinate audiovisual setups and provide video conferencing support, leveraging knowledge of virtual meeting applications like MS Teams, Zoom, and GoTo, with a preference for Microsoft Teams Rooms certified equipment.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems using company-provided tools such as Active Directory and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
• Identify and diagnose hardware, software, or network-related problems, devising plans for resolution, repair, or replacement as needed.
• Recommend strategies to enhance efficiencies, potentially involving the implementation of new practices, devices, or software.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Office 365 applications (MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams) and operating systems like Windows 10/11.
• Collaborate with other IT department members on various projects and initiatives.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and be available for travel to remote locations for support.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Required Skills:

• IT enterprise experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or relevant education is a plus.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and software in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, critical and analytical thinking, with an ability to adapt to change.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities and work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to perform well in high-pressure situations, with strong organizational and time-management skills.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $37,693.00 - $38,113.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
