Job Description:

Utel USA is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual with entrepreneurial spirit to join our team as an Intern Sales Development Representative. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced advisors, gain valuable industry knowledge, and contribute to the success of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and learn from the sales leadership team and senior technical advisors in assessing client needs and recommending appropriate technology solutions.
  • Complete training on existing and emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitor offerings.
  • Assist in the preparation of sales proposals, presentations, and client communications.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to learn best practices, phone skills, follow-up cadence to ensure seamless execution of sales.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to gain exposure to client interactions and requirements.
  • Stay updated on relevant certifications, training programs, vendors and industry developments to enhance technical expertise.

Qualifications:

  • 3rd or 4th year student in college or university
  • Strong interest in sales and technology with an eagerness to learn about various technology solutions and platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with potential new customers, existing clients and internal teams.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify telecommunication opportunities and technical issues and learn to propose solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Previous experience or coursework in IT, business management, technology sales, or related areas is a plus.
  • Familiarity with telecommunications, internet access, cloud computing, cybersecurity, networking, and other IT domains is desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software is preferred.
