Salary: $23.80 - $28.33

Orthodontic Assistant

Job Duties:

• Review daily schedule with ortho team during huddles.
• Prepare operatory for the procedure scheduled; ensure procedure tubs, instruments and trays are correctly selected and complete.
• Assist and perform all orthodontic procedures such as placing and removing arch wires, placing separators, preparing patient for banding, and preparing patient for bonding, delivering appliances.
• Take accurate impressions and perform ortho lab work such as pouring up, trimming models, and fabricating essix retainers, etc.

• Orthodontic Assistant Permit
• Radiation Safety/X-Ray Certificate
• Infection Control Certificate
• High school graduate or GED certificate/equivalent
• Current CPR/BLS certificate
• At least one (1) year experience as chair side orthodontic assistant
