Junior Security Analyst

Position Overview for the Junior Security Analyst
Monitor security systems such as firewalls and intrusion detection, document and report incidents and breaches, as well as conduct vulnerability assessments to identify security weaknesses.
Conduct internal and external security audits to help ensure compliance with industry standards.
Analyze threat intelligence data to determine potential threats as they develop.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure best practices are integrated in the security department, as well as staying current with the latest security trends and technologies.
Skills for the Junior Security Analyst:
Bachelor s degree of Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related fields.
Basic understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and cybersecurity principles.
Knowledge of security tools such as Firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and antivirus software.
Previous internship experience highly preferred, but not required.
