Please note this position iis a Part Time day shift position which will include every other weekend and every other holiday
In this role, the Mental Health Worker (MHW) provides direct patient care for assigned patients in compliance with departmental standards and regulatory agency guidelines. This position provides direct care for adult and geriatric patients. Some examples of care include:
- Assisting in ADL's
- Supervising meals and passing trays
- Obtaining vital signs
- Communicating and maintaining documentation in the EMR
- Assuring pertinent information is channeled appropriately.
- Performing escort duties
- Supervising solarium/day room activities
- Assisting with patient related discussion or activity groups.
