Job Title : Assistant Production Supervisor - Location : all - Department : Prod - Classification : Hourly, Non-exempt

The Assistant Production Supervisor-Casting has the following departments that report directly to him / her : Steel Yard, Set-Up, Hardware, Casting, Batch Plant and concrete finishers.

They are responsible for ensuring that all employees are accounted for each day and that they work in the safest manner possible.

All prints are to be reviewed each morning and production batch sheets complete for the employees. Oversee all production for the day and make sure that panels are produced in the highest quality possible.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• High School education required.
• 3 4 years experience working in and around concrete.
• Proven experience in planning / organization.
• Ability to multi task and handle stressful situations.

Working Conditions

• Indoor environment
• Frequently exposed to cement based materials and dust.
• Frequently exposed to machine noise.
• Exposed to chemicals that are associated with mixing, pouring, and finishing concrete.

Physical Requirements :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, twist, and walk, must be able to use various hand tools or controls;

reach with hands and arm; limb or balance on elevated surfaces; and stoop, kneel, squat, crouch or crawl. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

The employee must be able to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Constant and continual medium to heavy manual physical labor is required for this position.

Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel toe ankle work boots, hard hats, work gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, back brace, forearm shields, and safety vests.

This is an indoor / outdoor work environment : Exposure to sun, heat, humidity, cold, wind, light rain, sand, and dust.
