Do you have the skills and knowledge for a Millwright Job If so, we want you!
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Repair & replace chains, conveyors, gear box, drive train, hydraulics and pneumatics
- Use power tools & hand tools
- Welding
- Fabricate parts
- File reports
- Maintain proper maintenance logs
- Ability to read blueprints & sketches proficiently to fabricate equipment and make modifications.
- Troubleshooting, repair, assembly, preventive maintenance
High School Diploma
Trade School Certification or Associates Degree
Required Skills/Abilities:
- 2 - 5 years of experience in Industrial Environment Maintenance in a Sawmill is desirable
- Excellent reading and writing skills
- Experience in stationary equipment used to process lumber
- Work in a team environment in a safe & productive manner
- Have the ability to troubleshoot
- Previous sawmill experience and welding certification is an asset
- Proficiency in hydraulic & pneumatic troubleshooting required
- Needs to have strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work shift work, long hours and weekends as needed
- Work with a team or independently
