What You Will Be DoingThe Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for actionable financial analysis enabling key stakeholders within the company to drive business performance. This individual will have visibility to company strategy and financials and will be expected to successfully collaborate across teams while maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive data. A successful candidate will challenge the status quo to drive insights on financial trends and opportunities for process improvement. This individual should be analytical, proactive, flexible, and possess a strong drive to meet and exceed expectations.
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic planning and analyze annual budgets and rolling forecasts
- Independently prepare detailed financial reports to enable management decision-making and identify areas for improvement
- Maintain key performance indicators and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
- Evaluate financial data and metrics to identify risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to mitigate risks and optimize financial performance
- Communicate and implement compliance standards and best practices
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in financial analysis and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance preferred
- High level of proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Data Analysis
- Deep understanding of GAAP rules
- Clear understanding of income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Independant thinker who is proactive and self-directed
- Able to work effectively under tight deadlines within an evolving environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial concepts to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
