Payroll Manager - Hybrid

Summary: High Country Search Group has partnered with a construction company hiring a Payroll Manager. This role requires Certified Payroll experience and prior experience working in ADP software. This hybrid role is located on the Northwest side of Denver, near Wadsworth/88th Ave.

Your Responsibilities as the Payroll Manager:

• Manage and oversee the payroll process for the organization. Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions.
• Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
• Perform payroll reconciliations.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management.
• Process journal entries related to payroll transactions.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with payroll regulations and best practices.
• Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• 2 years working in ADP payroll software is required
• 2 years working in Certified Payroll is required
• Understanding of U.S. payroll and tax processes required
• Understanding the laws for processing garnishments/child support orders is required

Ideal Skills/Abilities:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.
