JOB DUTIES
- Understand customer needs to provide innovative solutions and recommend system, product, and process enhancements
- Provide documentation of business rules, functional specifications, and process interpretation
- Implement business software and provide systems administration set-up and configuration
- Implement business rules and functional enhancements via script
- Test business logic changes and functional enhancements
- Provide applications first-tier customer support for systems issue resolution
- Monitor scheduled application interface and provide issue resolution and after-hours support
- Provide assistance in the creation of production, ad-hoc reporting and interface solutions to query needs of the business
- Communicate with management, business partners, software vendors, and suppliers on business systems, project status and project
- Coordinate with program development teams on software interfaces used by supported business applications
- Maintain technical and functional awareness and competence
- Ensure familiarity and compliance with Company policies and procedures
- Support BSA Manager with departmental objectives
- Qualifications:
Knowledge - Advanced knowledgeable of best practices in information technology governance and regulatory landscape for financial institutions
- Advanced knowledge of the Corporate Business solution environment
- Advanced knowledge in gathering and documenting Epics, Features and Stories in an Agile environment
- Advanced knowledge of scripting languages (Ex: JavaScript, Python etc )
- Ability to analyse data using SQL and Excel for reporting and data mining purposes
- Ability to meet expected delivery dates and the tasks necessary to achieve objectives
- Strong in the use of Microsoft Office software including strong ability to analyse data using Excel for reporting and data mining purposes
- Strong people skills including the ability to interact with employees at all levels
- Minimum of 4 years of prior analysis experience in an Information Technology environment required
- Experience in auto finance industry and loan origination systems preferred
