Property Description
Chez Hotel is a brand-new luxury boutique hotel in Arlington Heights, IL. The hotel has a total of 64 sleeping rooms, private boardroom, Rooftop Bar (coming soon), 6,500 sq ft Ballroom, 24 Hour Fitness Center with a Coffee Shop in Lobby.
The Ballroom part of the venue has been existing for 20 years and is a very well-known venue for Social events. With the new addition of the Hotel to the venue, we are now focusing on gaining corporate sales.
Job Summary
The Corporate Sales Manager is responsible for attainment of assigned goals tied to the overall performance of the hotel. The individual will be responsible for effectively soliciting and securing new accounts. The Corporate Sales Manager will work in conjunction with the Director of Sales to achieve the hotel’s revenue and market share goals for one or more properties. The focus of sales may vary based on the respective property the associate is assigned to (i.e. Leisure Business Travel Group SMERF). Management-level associates are expected to work as much of each workday as is necessary to complete their job responsibilities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Attend and participate in local and national events and meetings to build and grow client relationships.
- Confidently sell to all levels of an organization with an ability to relate to people both in person and on the phone.
- Constantly thinking outside of the box and crafting outstanding experiences.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; previous Hotel Sales experience preferred.
- Must possess developed verbal and written communication skills to frequently negotiate convince sell and influence other managerial personnel hotel guest(s) and/or corporate client
- A self-starter with an outgoing personality who enjoys interacting with new and established clients.
- Prefer 3 years of experience in hotel sales.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and telephone etiquette.
- This person must present a professional appearance.
- This person must be able to handle the stress of multiple tasks; must be able to organize and prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
- This person must be punctual and able to work flexible hours.
- Intermediate or better computer skills with a proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel are required.
