The expected annual salary range for this role is $65250.0 - $95700.0 a year.

What You’ll Do
- Develop a variety of complex drawings and bills-of-material based upon established product designs, providing sufficient detail to accurately convey the purchaser’s equipment application.
- Consult with plant and field sales engineers in interpreting and defining new equipment applications.
- Coordinate mechanical and electrical interfaces with other products.
- Advise C.O.D., Manufacturing and Purchasing – when required – in interpreting information for the accurate production of equipment in accordance with the purchaser’s requirements.
- Consult with the Quality Department in resolving issues after the equipment is shipped, when required.
- Direct purchaser visits to approve or release equipment.
- Conduct special development/application projects of a complex nature.
- Inform in cost and cycle time improvement activities.
- Plan travel as required to support any of the above.
- Conduct technical training seminars, as required.
- Provide technical training and guidance to department personnel.
- Analyze needs and recommend revisions to Department Policies and Procedures.
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Arden, NC will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering Technology, or Mechanical Engineering,
- electrical and computer engineering, or mechatronics from an accredited institution.
- One (1) year of manufacturing experience including internships and co-op assignments.
- Knowledge of power distribution and control systems (LV and MV Switchgear, Panel boards and Switchboards, Motor Control
- Centers, etc.)
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of electrical engineering
- Knowledge of design standards.
- Excellent computer skills including MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), AutoCAD, databases.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
