The Home Health LVN possesses basic nursing knowledge, a repertoire of service-driven and patient-oriented interpersonal skills and maintains the standards of care for the home health service. Under the supervision of the RN Case Manager, he/she provides a wide range of clinical services.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

· Current California LVN license in good standing

· Current BLS certification

· Current California driver’s license, possession of a reliable car, safe effective driving skills and current auto insurance

· A minimum of one year of experience as a licensed vocational nurse is required

· A minimum of one year of experience in home health is desirable

· Compassion and respect for patients, without bias

· Emotional stability associated with fast paced responsibilities, rapidly changing priorities, creative problem solving, emotional demands of patients and their families

· Maintaining effective working relationships with peers, physicians and other health care workers is essential.

Wages are based on prior related experience. We offer a full benefit package that includes full health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription drug) at no monthly cost to full-time employees, and with a minimal monthly cost for family coverage.
