Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Consultant located in Apex, NC. This will be a challenging and a lucrative opportunity for an individual who is self-driven and not afraid of responsibility. Although prior B2B sales specifically in the engineering/ architectural industry is desirable, high energy level and an entrepreneurial spirit to drive goals is more important. The job role includes:

  • Develop new leads and sales via telephone/ email communication/ social media within the target market (80 dials per day).
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to securing a deal.
  • Build and cultivate prospective relationships to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
  • Work with the CEO, COO and inside sales team globally to develop and grow the sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Prepare and analyze sales pipeline reports and dashboards (using CRM).
  • Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentation following company procedure.
  • 25-50% travel may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Proven 5 years of inside/ business to business sales experience. Engineering sales background will be an added benefit.
  • Sales Consulting and Consulting skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to effectively manage sales pipeline by using company CRM.
  • Sound knowledge of sales performance metrics and the ability to consistently meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
  • Strong client management skills and a confident negotiator.
  • Attention to detail - must work independently and make sound business judgments.
  • A go-getter and result oriented attitude.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of CAD, Drafting, and Engineering Design is a plus
  • Experience in the Engineering Design and Drafting industry is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field

The job's total compensation opportunity is in the range of $70,000 to $110,000 per year (including base salary and sales commission).
