Commission Sales Rep
Full-Time Hybrid
Anna, IL and Vienna, IL
This commission-only sales position offers great financial opportunity, flexibility and full-time benefits!
You’ll be selling business advertisements for our well-established news publications (Vienna Times, Gazette-Democrat and Monday’s Pub). This flexible hybrid position will have you working in our Anna, IL and Vienna, IL offices for part of the week and remote for the rest of the week. You’ll like our supportive team! Enjoy partnering with local businesses and helping them be profitable due to your ad placements. Commission potential is 36k to 40k, depending on your effort.
Responsibilities:
· Sell business advertisements into several news publications via phone, email and in-person contact
· Sell through repeat business as well as cold-call new businesses
· Work a day or two each week in our Anna, IL and Vienna, IL offices
· Work hybrid the remainder of the week
· Drive to meet with advertising prospects within the local and surrounding communities
Requirements:
· Proven/successful sales experience, preferably in advertising
· DL with good record
· Demonstrated ability to work independently
· Self-driven and highly motivated with tenacity to close sales
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Able to cold-call new business opportunities
