Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, sterility, and proper packaging of medical instruments and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment
- Assemble instrument trays following established count sheets
- Inspect instruments for cleanliness and functionality
- Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves
- Maintain accurate records of processed items
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
Experience:
- Previous experience in sterile processing preferred
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Proficiency in aseptic techniques
- Certification in sterile processing is a plus
