Weekly Schedule: 8 hours x 5 days, Monday-Friday (3 PM - 11:30 PM) with occasional weekend call on rotation

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and certified Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST/CSPDT) to join our healthcare team in Muskegon, MI. This contract position involves ensuring the proper sterilization, assembly, and distribution of medical instruments and equipment in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments and medical equipment.
• Ensure proper operation of sterilization equipment and adhere to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and inventory.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to meet patient care needs.
• Participate in quality control and assurance activities.
• Respond to emergency requests and be available for occasional weekend call on a rotational basis.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST or CSPDT) is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in sterile processing or a related field.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques, infection control protocols, and medical terminology.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evening or night shifts as scheduled, with occasional weekend call rotation.
