Shop Technician performs a variety of tasks primarily in the Anaheim shop and yard. They may include cleaning and preparing equipment, loading, and unloading materials, and using a variety of tools and equipment. The shop technician will also be required to do deliveries and help keep the warehouse running smooth.

REPORTS TO: Warehouse/Construction Services Manager

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following list contains many of the duties to be performed but is not all inclusive:

· Maintenance and cleaning of seaming equipment and construction tools.

· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. (seaming, materials deployment, testing equipment and associated tools).

· Safely assure that all equipment/materials are maintained and stored in compliance with ECA standards.

· Assist in fabrication and testing all materials produced utilizing appropriate IAGI and ASTM standards – document results.

· Must deliver/pick-up equipment, materials and other supplies in a timely fashion;

· Operate forklift for loading and unloading of trucks.

· Responsible for routine maintenance, lubricating, and servicing of their seaming device.

· Keep record of work performed, parts used, and organize inventory products, equipment, and materials in shop.

· Other duties as assigned.

PREREQUISITES:

Applicant must meet the following requirements and standards:

1. Shop technician must have physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance.

2. Must also be able to concentrate on their tasks and can understand and communicate information.

3. Ability to work both indoors and outdoors

4. Drug/Alcohol free (Drug tests will be performed regularly)

5. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

6. Must have a valid driver license and acceptable driving record

7. Must have reliable transportation and show up to work on time every day.

8. Ability to perform all job functions in a safe manner to avoid personal injury and equipment damage.

9. Must be willing to comply with all company safety and personnel policies.

10. Auto Mechanic and Diesel repair and problem-solving skills is a plus

11. Hand tool repair is a plus

12. Familiarity with Honda and Briggs & Stratton engines and generators is a plus

13.Must be able to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, lift overhead, work at heights, walk/work in rough terrain in order to access equipment, tools, materials, and job site in order to complete work.

14. Must be able to work the hours necessary to achieve the goals of the company.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
