Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping practices, with proficiency in various financial software applications.
Duties:
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial records and transactions
- Perform full-cycle accounting duties, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and prepare financial statements
- Utilize accounting software for accurate record-keeping
- Ensure compliance with governmental accounting regulations
- Handle corporate accounting tasks efficiently
- Execute double entry bookkeeping procedures accurately
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial tools
- Strong knowledge of balance sheet reconciliation and bank reconciliation processes
- Familiarity with software is a plus
- Ability to manage accounts payable functions effectively
- Understanding of double entry bookkeeping principles
- Experience in public accounting or governmental accounting is advantageous
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
