Job Description : The Iowa State University Athletics Department is seeking hard working, responsible, motivated candidates for an entry-level, post-graduate associate position supporting Athletics Marketing operations.

This position will receive exposure to professional aspects of collegiate athletics marketing in a progressive learning mode.

• Oversee marketing, promotions and gameday events for assigned sports. Develop and implement marketing and promotional plans for assigned sports Game day promotions and operations Oversee social media efforts for the Iowa State’s Athletics main Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts.
• Assist with football game day marketing operations Hire and supervise student interns Assist with community and on-campus grassroots marketing efforts.
• Help with special events and other related duties Perform all duties in adherence with NCAA , Big 12, and university policiesThe ideal candidates should have creativity and marketing / promotion skills;

proficient use of social media; ability to plan, multi-task & problem solve; good communication skills; be committed to customer service and fan experience.

Candidates are expected to be committed to multiculturalism and working with a diverse clientele. This position works primarily daytime office hours but schedules will fluctuate weekly and require the ability to work at assigned evening and weekend events.

Position Details : Structured similar to a post-grad internship. $28,000 annualized salary, plus overtime pay; receives paid time off;
