Campania takes the best elements of fine and casual dining to create a sophisticated and lively atmosphere centered around authentic Neapolitan pizza. We are a privately owned family of restaurants expanding into locations well-suited for authentic restaurants. We are looking for experienced professionals wishing to grow their career in the hospitality industry on our team. At our new, Canton location we are hiring a bartender whose personality and character is well suited to our mission. This bartender must be primarily focused on the guest experience with a friendly demeanor that is combined with traditional bartending skills. We offer full health benefits to all full-time staff. To promote family and quality of life for our team, we close our restaurants every Monday, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day and Superbowl Sunday.
Responsibilities:
-Perform all traditional bartending responsibilities
-Gain knowledge of our Italian wine list in order to recommend the proper wine for the guest’s preference and/or appropriate food pairing.
-Implement the Campania steps of service to provide the guest with the same dining experience as if they were seated I our dining area.
-Develop a rapport with bar customers such that they become loyal guests.
Qualifications:
-Previous experience as a server or bartender in a full-service restaurant.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff members and guests.
-Mixology experience includes making craft cocktails utilizing high-end spirits and artisan methods.
