Job Summary

In this position you will cooperatively work with a team to efficiently create customers’ orders. Safety will be a main priority for you and your fellow team members.

Your job will involve driving around warehouses, storage spaces and other facilities placing and moving product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Read orders to ascertain catalog numbers, sizes, colors, and quantities of merchandise.
• Properly unload freight from over the road trucks.
• Responsible for accurately recording the condition of freight as it arrives at the warehouse.
• Stack empty pallets to no more than 14 high and kegs to no more than 3 high. Organize and store them using P.I.T. equipment.
• Restock shelving units with product so it is available for night shift as they deplete stock.
• Assists other shipping and receiving material handlers to balance the workload, organize warehouses, and perform general cleaning.
• Rotate product to make sure the freshest product is picked first in the night shift.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.
• 1-year of forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate basic product scanner proficiency effectively with minimal errors.
• Strong team player and the ability to get along with co-workers.
• Good verbal / written communication skills, basic math skills, and ability to read documents in English, such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
