Job Details
Location: Allen , TX - Onsite
Length : Fulltime/Direct Hire/Permanent
As a Full-Stack Engineer, this person will be responsible for both designing and building both front-end and back-end components and services. This role is also responsible for ensuring the quality of the application, fixing application defects, maintaining the code, and implementing application updates.
- Contribute to all areas of the development lifecycle, including architecture, design, development, testing, and releasing.
- Debug, develop and maintain our application s codebases, and implement best practices for code reliability and quality control.
- Implement required functionality using the programming languages appropriate for the domain.
- Develop applications with agreed-upon technology / software to deliver the required functionality.
- Study existing codebase to understand established standards and patterns.
- Implement functionality conforming to industry-standard security practices.
- Improve code quality through participation in peer code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions, within and across teams.
- Quickly troubleshoot to identify causes of software and service issues.
- Communicate effectively and competently with other team members on functionality and integration points of application software.
- Create and maintain documents for applications and systems which are developed or supported.
- Operate diligently within software development standards, policies, and procedures.
- Define test scenarios, unit and integration tests to prove functionality of software per requirements.
- Effectively negotiate non-functional quality into deliverables.
- Utilize JIRA to administer assignment progress, status, effort, and estimates.
- Diligence in administration of estimations, task status, and timekeeping.
- Build, Test, and Deploy modern front-end applications with a framework like React / Angular
- Build, Test, and Deploy APIs with a framework like Laravel / Symfony / Django
- Build, Test, and Deploy software supporting the delivery of service to subscribers.
- Strong developer with 6 years of object-oriented design and problem-solving skills.
- Experience delivering efficient, reliable and maintainable software.
- Strong fundamentals in data structures, design patterns, security practices, and algorithms.
- Ability to elaborate requirements into robust, stable, organized codebase.
- Ability to communicate and plan for technical resource consumption (compute, memory, storage) of software.
- Diligence in the administration of estimations, task status, and timekeeping.
- Proficiency in multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript, JQuery).
- Proficiency in multiple JavaScript Frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js).
- Proficiency in multiple back-end languages (e.g. PHP, Python, Node.js, Elixir).
- Proficiency with API development patterns (e.g. RESTful, XML-RPC, JSON-RPC).
- Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases and tools (e.g. MySQL, Postgres, Redis, Mongodb, and Elasticsearch)
