Job Description
Job Title: Finance Manager
Reports To: Executive Director
Exemption Status: Exempt
Summary: The finance manager position is accountable for proper financial planning and budgeting of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Finance, Accountng, Business Adminstration or a related field from four-year college or university; and five (5) years related experience
Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software; Strong to advanced Excel spreadsheet skills; Inventory software; Internet software and Contact Management systems. Thorough knowledge of QuickBooks is a must.
