Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated and passionate Substitute Teachers to join our team. As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity in the classroom and ensuring a positive learning environment for students. This is a temporary position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to gain valuable teaching experience. Responsibilities: - Follow lesson plans and deliver instruction in the absence of the regular teacher - Maintain classroom management and discipline to create a productive learning environment - Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students - Provide support to students with special education needs or learning difficulties - Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure seamless transitions between classes - Assess student progress and provide feedback on assignments and assessments - Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes student engagement and participation - Utilize effective communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (or currently pursuing a degree) - Valid teaching certification or substitute teaching permit/license - Strong knowledge of childhood development, curriculum development, and literacy education - Experience in lesson planning and delivering instruction in a classroom setting - Ability to effectively communicate and engage with students of diverse backgrounds - Excellent organizational skills and ability to adapt quickly to different teaching environments - Prior experience in tutoring or working with children is preferred Note: This is a paid position, compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
