Duties
- Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the requirements of the school's curriculum program
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
- Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain a productive learning atmosphere
- Assess and evaluate student progress through various forms of assessment
- Provide individualized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate instructional activities
- Utilize technology and other resources to enhance student learning
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and progress
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Experience working with elementary school students
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and educational theories
- Proficiency in math and other core subjects taught at the elementary level
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and administrators
- Knowledge of education administration and policies
- Ability to provide early intervention strategies for students who may be struggling academically or behaviorally
