Operations Assistant

Our cooperative is seeking an Operations Assistant to join our team. As our Operations Assistant, you’ll wear many hats, navigating the twists and turns of cooperative life. You’ll be at the heart of our operations activities, ensuring smooth processes and effective communication across various departments in addition to external stakeholders. This position is responsible for assisting the Engineering and Operations Department. Some responsibilities include providing resources as requested by various departments within the Cooperative as well as to members, electricians, and excavators; act as liaison between multiple parties to accommodate requests for service to new or existing properties. Other duties include entering service orders, maintaining data regarding easements, pole attachments, apprentice, and safety records.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Advanced business or accounting training desired. Successful candidates will possess the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, and can complete assigned tasks in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
