GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Social Media Coordinator to manage social media accounts across four brands and multiple locations. They will be responsible for creating monthly social media calendars, coordinating with marketing and design teams to produce engaging content, and implementing strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement across various social media platforms.

JOB DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES:

Social Media Management:

  • Manage and maintain social media accounts for four distinct brands across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.
  • Monitor social media channels for brand mentions, comments, and messages, and respond promptly and appropriately.
  • Regularly update profiles, cover photos, and bios to ensure consistency and relevance.

Content Creation and Curation:

  • Develop monthly social media content calendars in alignment with brand objectives and marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to create compelling visual and written content.
  • Curate relevant content from industry sources and user-generated content to supplement brand messaging.

Engagement and Community Building:

  • Implement strategies to increase follower engagement, including contests, polls, and user-generated content campaigns.
  • Foster meaningful interactions with followers, customers, and influencers to build brand loyalty and advocacy.
  • Monitor trends and best practices in social media engagement and incorporate them into the brand's strategy.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Track key metrics such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates across social media platforms.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement, and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Use analytics to optimize content strategy, posting schedules, and audience targeting.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with the marketing, design, and sales teams to ensure social media content aligns with overall marketing objectives and brand messaging.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather input, share updates, and obtain approvals on social media initiatives.
  • Coordinate with external agencies or vendors as needed for content creation, advertising campaigns, or other social media initiatives.

Local Engagement and Collaboration:

  • Meet with individual office leaders across multiple locations to gather insights into local happenings, events, and community initiatives.
  • Collaborate with office leaders to incorporate local content into the social media calendar, ensuring relevance and authenticity for each location.
  • Coordinate with office leaders to amplify local events or initiatives through social media channels, fostering community engagement and brand awareness at the grassroots level.

Event Coverage and Content Creation:

  • Attend company fundraising events and other relevant gatherings to capture engaging content for social media.
  • Produce live updates, behind-the-scenes stories, and real-time posts to showcase the company's involvement and impact.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create post-event content, including highlights, testimonials, and thank-you messages for sponsors and attendees.
  • Utilize event content to drive ongoing engagement and support for the company's charitable initiatives across social media platforms.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for multiple brands or clients.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools such as Hubspot is a plus.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Google Analytics).
  • Creative thinker with a keen eye for visual design and storytelling.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing.
