As the first face families encounter in the hospice process, the Hospice Registration Representative sets the tone for the entire hospice experience.
The registration professional fosters a sense of trust and security, helping families feel supported and informed during a time of acute awareness of impending loss.
The ability to navigate complex emotions with sensitivity and professionalism is essential in making families feel cared for and understood.
As a Hospice Registration Representative you will travel to homes and / or facilities to review consent paperwork that begins in the admissions process for patients and famlies.
As a team, we are dedicated to ensuring that each patient and their family members receive the utmost compassion throughout every step of their care journey with us.
After all, we only have one chance to get this experience right.
Registration Representative Qualifications & Responsibilities :
- 1 year of experience in a sales, marketing or customer-facing role
- Prior healthcare, hospice or home health experience and / or knowledge preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Active Driver’s License and Vehicle Insurance
- Reliable personal transportation
- Maintaining a respectful, professional and comforting presence in all interactions
- Ability to travel to homes and facilities to meet with patients and families
Registration Representative Schedule & Benefits :
- Schedule : Monday to Friday, 10 : 00 AM to 6 : 30 PM
- Health, Dental, Vision & 401k with match
