- Maintain inspection reports
- Ensure compliance with company standards and specifications.
- Maintain calibration of quality control equipment
- Perform inspections across all stages of production.
- Input test data for review
- Evaluate data and draft reports, noting any relevant deviations from existing standards
- Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency
- Perform internal audits across the operation
- Inspect raw materials to include lab analytics
- Must know various mathematical concepts including fractions, ratios, and proportions. Must be able to demonstrate basic math skills
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to demonstrate.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be familiar with optical comparator, thickness gauge, abrasion testing, scratch testing
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Access, Excel) or related software.
- Experience with MRP systems such as SAP
- At least 2 years of experience in a Quality Assurance/Quality Control role is required. Prefer experience in solid surface flooring.
- Must have at least a GED or high school diploma.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
- Must be willing and able to work in an LVT manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to work 12-hour, rotating shifts.
