Title of position: Plant Controller (must have manufacturing experience)

Department: plant setting, automotive manufacturing

Location: Ada, Oklahoma ( Ada is 83 miles South of Oklahoma City, OK or 1 ½ hour commute)
Company: global automotive Tier 1 supplier of exterior plastics/metal components

Components: front automotive fascia / bumper systems

Travel percentage: zero

Candidates considered: USA citizens, Green Card Holders and TN Visa (Canadian/Mexican)

Salary: $100k - $120k

Hours of job: 730am – 430pm ( on site 5 days a week )

Replacing a candidate who moved up in their career. 2*) They are open to a less experienced candidate to go into a Jr. Controller level and be trained up…. 3) There is room to grow from a Plant Controller to Sr or Director level role. 4)* this position reports to a Regional Director of Group Director (off site) 5) in a nut shell the role is > - Responsible for all financial operations in the plant. - Includes: periodic financial reports, maintaining accounting records, work with the budget to mitigate risk, annual audits, oversee both payroll and accounts receivable, etc. - Provides analysis and support to plant GM related to business decisions, as well as working with the CFO and group controller to facilitate plant needs. 6) Typical day? Most of the focus of the position is big picture things, with annual weekly/monthly/yearly reports needing to be submitted. Including: Weekly payroll oversight, annual audits, monthly financial statements, etc. 7) there is much support from Group Controller and plant member, the candidate won’t be put on an island to perform. Good training and knowledge transfer available. The Retired Controller is assisting during transition of finding new Controller. 8) 2 step interview. 1st interview would be cell or video interview with the Group Controller. Second step would be an onsite interview at the plant with the GM, HR MGR and maybe others.

Responsibilities:

· Oversee the activities of the accounting department for the accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements and annual audits and annual budgets.

· Oversee the activities of the disbursement department, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, purchase orders, petty cash, core employee expense reports, cash control and total corporate payroll tax compliance.

· Oversee the activities of the accounts receivable department to ensure the accurate and timely management of all accounts receivable aging components including billings, cash, receipts applications, funding management, quarter and year-end closing including federal and state report.

· Oversee payroll systems to ensure timely and accurate payments to employees, administration of benefits and regulatory compliance.

· Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies including Federal, State/Provincial, Municipal/Local income, payroll and property taxes.

· Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data, and enhance the company’s value.

· Respond to CFO and Group Controller as assigned with accurate and timely work to facilitate his financial needs.

· Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.

· Communicate with co-workers, management, clients and others in a courteous and professional manner.

· Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.

· Safeguard assets and assure accurate and timely recording of all transactions by implementing disciplines of internal audits, controls and checks across all departments.

· Manage the accuracy and reporting of the perpetual inventory system including accurate cost accounting for all inventory items.

· Assure financial plans are consistent with organizational goals.

· Provide financial analysis tools to evaluate company ventures or special projects, programs, capital expenditures and product costing.

· The incumbent is responsible for the awareness, understanding, specific responsibilities and management of the Environmental Management System (EMS) as stated in EMS policy CEVPL.00005.

Qualifications:

· Must have manufacturing / plant type experience

· Bachelor’s degree in related field

· Ten years progressive responsibilities related work experience in a manufacturing environment.

· Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations.

· Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).

· Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office.

· Must be a highly motivated, service and team-oriented individual with an attention to detail.

· Enthusiasm for challenge and new initiatives are prerequisites.

· Strong analytical ability, Troubleshooting ability is required

· Supervisory and interpersonal skills are required

· Demonstrated good internal customer service skills

· Ability to manage multiple projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
