We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in the Service industry in SeaTac, Washington. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting duties, including reconciling the general ledger, providing audit support, processing payroll, and handling accounts payable. This role is a temporary position that offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and develop a broad range of accounting skills and knowledge.Responsibilities:• Reconciling the general ledger to ensure accurate accounting records• Assisting with audit support tasks as required• Processing payroll for approximately 60 employees• Handling monthly commissions and vacation accruals• Managing accounts payable, including 2-way matching with purchase orders and supplier invoices• Creating and posting journal entries to the general ledger• Handling business and occupation (B& O) tasks as needed• Ensuring compliance with Labor and Industries (L& I) regulations• Conducting two check runs per week to ensure timely payment of invoicesSkills:• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)• Experience with Bank Reconciliations and General Ledger management• Ability to create and post Journal Entries• Familiarity with Month End Close procedures• Experience with Dynamics GP and ADP - Payroll software is beneficial
