What you’ll be doing!

The Production Runner will be responsible for assisting the Inventory Control Lead and Production Manager necessary for company operations. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commercial mindset, with strong communication skills. This position will be responsible for running parts between manufacturing sites.

• Verifying receipt of items, proper count, storage, kitting, and distribution of inventory. Promoting positive and thorough communication with other departments.
• Assist inventory control throughout the organization.
• Ensure all items are appropriately received and stored.
• See to proper inventory and pull component parts to ensure production demands are met in the most efficient manner obtainable.
• Work directly with management to bring them up to date regarding stock inflow and outflow.
• Provide accurate information on inventory to Supply Chain to guide them in their choice of items to order. Move parts between facilities.
• Review balance of inventory and count the items in stock.
• Investigate difficulties in the inventory system and execute necessary improvements towards better production performance.
• Monitoring and expediting orders as required to meet manufacturing demands while supporting Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives
• Verify receipt of items by comparing items received to packing list.
• Keeps information accessible and organized by sorting and filing documents.
• Pull Finished Goods inventory and prepare for shipment.
• Ability to work within an inventory management system.
