Role OverviewAs a Medical Assistant with our organization, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide clinical assistance to patients. You will be an integral part of a care team model, ensuring patients receive consistent and comprehensive care throughout their treatment journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient intake procedures, including vitals, medication reconciliation, and medical history documentation
- Assist clinicians with various tasks such as lab testing, procedures, and patient exams
- Manage patient messages and communicate clinician recommendations to relevant parties
- Maintain accurate records of vaccinations and administer injections as needed
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure compliance with medical home standards and coordinate patient information during team meetings
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Medical Assistant Certification and CPR certification required
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and equipment preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a plus
