Northland Recovery Center is seeking a registered nurse to provide nursing care to clients in our residential treatment and detox facility and to act as the primary medical case manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Provide nursing care, history and data collection, monitor physical, emotional, and psychological needs of the clients.

2. Follow through with care plans/update as needed.

3. Obtain, receive, and transcribe medication orders and follow all physicians’ orders.

4. Medication administration and perform treatments as ordered by physicians.

5. Do admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed.

6. Follow clinical charting procedures and record maintenance.

7. Activate and provide emergency response within the facility and educate staff on emergency management.

8. Identify susceptibility for abuse/harm and initiate appropriate risk reduction measures.

9. Follow all mandated reporting laws and educate staff on process/procedure and updates.

10. Be able to provide all NRC services and responsibilities, same as CD techs, and LPN’s.

11. Provide medical lecture to clients and groups as needed or schedule
