Summary

The Line Supervisor will ensure that the line process is smoothly running to ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, the Line Supervisor must accurately repair and perform scheduled maintenance on all airplanes and perform inspections as required by the FAA.

Essential Functions

1. Maintaining efficiency in Flight Operations.
2. Maintaining an OSHA-compliant, FOD-free hangar.
3. Promoting exceptional Customer Service.
4. Project lead.
5. Fully analyzes all required blueprints, drawings, work orders and sketches to troubleshoot, repair and install desired product or part. Detects errors and corrects through proper departmental channels. 
6. Assist the shop with meeting schedule needs to make on-time delivery of the aircraft to support missions.
7. Inspects all aircraft parts for damage, prior to installation.
8. Accurately estimates hours and materials for scheduled jobs.
9. Works effectively with engineering in recommending design enhancements and productivity improvements.
10. Operates all required ground support equipment.
11. Effectively troubleshoots and repairs all aircraft and customer systems.
12. Prompt and regular attendance.

Supervisory Responsibility

The Line Supervisor will supervise A&P Mechanics, Avionics and Operations Technicians daily to direct customer flight operations. A&P Mechanics, Avionics and Operations Technicians may be tasked individually by their respective department supervisors for specialized tasks.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday – Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with a one-hour unpaid meal break. Evening and weekend hours may be required as projects demand.

Travel

Some travel will be required as requested by customers. Traveling includes overnight stays outside of the standard working location. Travel to other customer sites within the continental United States and OCONUS travel may be required.

Required Education and Experience

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Airframe and Power Certificate.
3. Minimum of two years of aircraft-related experience.
4. IA Certification within 2 years in position.

Preferred Education and Experience

1. Associates degree in Business, Business Management or other related fields.
2. At least 2 years’ experience in a leadership position.

1. Valid Driver’s License.
2. U.S. Citizenship status required. 
3. Must hold or be able to obtain a DOD Secret Level Clearance (at minimum).
4. Outstanding leadership abilities.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Working knowledge of the latest business policies and regulations.
7. Demonstrate analytical thinking and business insight.
