Marshallton umc School is Hiring a Daycare Teacher (Preference will be given to spanish speaking candidates) Near Wilmington, DE
We are looking for an experienced Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and working with children, as well as a dedication to providing a safe and nurturing environment. Preference will be given to Spanish speaking, bilingual candidate . The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, supervising children during playtime, and helping with mealtime and nap time. The Daycare Teacher should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with parents, staff, and other professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise children in the classroom and on the playground.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans.
- Ensure a safe environment for children.
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress.
- Provide guidance to children on social, emotional, and behavioral issues.
- Maintain records of children's attendance, behavior, and development.
- Assist with feeding, diapering, and toileting as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour
